About GrantProbe
GrantProbe is a free grant research and matching platform built for small business owners, nonprofits, farmers, families, and anyone trying to navigate the complex landscape of U.S. grant funding. We believe the biggest reason people miss out on grants isn't ineligibility — it's a lack of clear, accurate, and accessible information. We're here to fix that.
Our mission
Our mission is to make grant research faster, clearer, and more useful for everyone — not just those who can afford grant consultants or expensive database subscriptions. Every year, billions of dollars in federal, state, and private grant funding goes unclaimed because applicants didn't know it existed, didn't understand the eligibility requirements, or couldn't navigate the application process. GrantProbe exists to close that gap.
We focus on three core problems: discovery (finding grants you actually qualify for), education (understanding what each grant requires and how to apply), and efficiency (reducing the time you spend on grant research so you can spend more time on your actual application). Our Grant Finder tool addresses all three — it's free, takes 60 seconds, and requires no signup.
How we research and review grants
Every grant profiled on GrantProbe is researched directly from primary sources: official program websites, Federal Register notices, agency FAQs, and published award data. We do not rely on secondhand aggregators. For each program, we verify eligibility requirements, funding amounts, application timelines, and official application portals. We note when programs are temporarily suspended or when deadlines are unconfirmed.
Our research team reviews and updates grant profiles on a rolling basis — typically monthly for high-traffic programs and quarterly for programs with annual cycles. When a program changes its eligibility, funding amount, or deadline, we update our content and note the revision date. We flag programs with uncertain funding status clearly rather than listing them as active.
For our comparative guides and software reviews, we apply a consistent scoring methodology across criteria including funding amount, competitiveness, application complexity, and typical success rate. Scores are based on published data, reported outcomes, and editorial judgment — not advertiser input. See our full methodology page for scoring details.
Our editorial standards
GrantProbe operates independently. We accept display advertising and participate in affiliate programs, but advertisers have no influence over editorial content, rankings, or recommendations. When we recommend a tool like Instrumentl or GrantStation, it's because our research supports the recommendation — not because the company pays us. If we have an affiliate relationship with a product we review, we note it clearly in the article.
We do not accept payment for positive coverage, guaranteed rankings, or "sponsored content" disguised as editorial. Our revenue comes from ads and affiliate commissions on independently selected products — the same model used by major consumer review publications. We believe transparency about our business model is essential to editorial credibility.
We are part of a broader network of niche authority sites. Sister sites cover adjacent topics including business finance (CeoCult), AI tools (Nesyona), education resources (EduBracket), e-commerce seller tools (BagEngine), health supplements (Health Britannica), and pet supplements (Petmaxxing). Editorial independence is maintained across all properties.
